Our Story

How Homewood Lawns Began

I began learning how to mow lawns with my father at the age of five. At the age of 11, I started mowing neighborhood lawns. Now at the age of 15, I am in my 5th year of mowing lawns all around Kensington, Silver Spring, Wheaton & Chevy Chase.

Payment

We accept cash, PayPal*, CashApp, Venmo or Zelle. Payment is due upon completion of services.

Pricing is for a standard lawn, on a lot up to 7,000 sq/ft, with a single family home or townhome. Edging is additional. and is charged at $10 for front yard (walkway, driveway & flower beds) & an additional $10 for backyard edging. Weekly pricing is for accounts with a seasonal agreement (16 mows or more between April 1 - October 1). Call for details. Lawns over 6" in maximum blade height incur an additional cost and will be mowed to maximum height of mower. Unless otherwise specified, all lawns will be mowed to maximum height for best lawn health/growth. *Weeding & ground clean-up starts @ $75 for the first hour & $50 for each additional hour. Rush fees apply for any services required within 24 hours.
